Otterly.AI Pricing (2026): Plans, Add-Ons, Is It Worth It?

Otterly.AI costs $29 a month for Lite (15 prompts), $189 for Standard (100) and $489 for Premium (400), before tax. ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot are included; Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude cost extra, and Standard with all three comes to $416 a month. Our view: Standard is the real entry price, and the add-ons are optional.

This guide is based on Otterly's public pricing page, calculators and help center as of October 3, 2026. We have not tested the product hands-on, so it says nothing about accuracy. Prices are US dollars before tax; Otterly's help center says you may see euros depending on location.

How much does Otterly.AI cost in 2026?

Otterly lists three self-serve plans plus a quote-only Enterprise tier. Monthly prices are $29, $189 and $489, and annual billing is advertised at 15% off. The yearly totals below come from Otterly's own pricing calculator, checked against the pricing page.

The "15% off" is a round number: Premium's annual total is 13.7% below twelve monthly payments. Enterprise is quote-only, from 1,000 prompts.

What does each plan include?

All three plans track the same four engines daily and include unlimited team members and brand reports. What changes is prompt volume, workspaces and the API and automation limits, per Otterly's pricing page.

The free trial is separate. Otterly's help center describes 7 days, no credit card, and 50 prompts. That is over three times Lite's allowance, so the trial tells you little about Lite.

What do the Gemini, AI Mode and Claude add-ons cost?

Each engine is a separate recurring add-on, priced by plan tier rather than by prompt count. Gemini and Google AI Mode cost $9, $59 and $149 a month on Lite, Standard and Premium; Claude costs $29, $109 and $439. Otterly says all three are available on every plan and can be switched off in billing, per its add-on guide.

Gemini here means the separate gemini.google.com assistant; AI Mode is Google's conversational search. Google documents that AI Mode and AI Overviews may use different models and techniques, which is why they are separate products with separate prices.

What does full coverage cost in total?

Adding all three engines multiplies the sticker price by 2.2 to 2.6. On Standard the sum is $189 + $59 + $59 + $109 = $416 a month.

Because add-ons follow the plan tier, Premium is where they hurt. In Otterly's calculator, Standard stretched to 300 prompts ($387) plus all three engines is $614 a month, while Premium at 400 prompts is $1,226.

How many prompts do you need, and where is the pricing cliff?

Count prompt slots, not questions. Otterly's prompt-counting guide says each prompt is tied to one country, so the same question in the US and the UK uses two slots, while one prompt feeding several brand reports uses one.

Otterly's own prompt calculator multiplies countries, languages, categories and prompts per category, using 50 prompts for a "basic check" and 100 for "extensive monitoring". One country, one language and one category is already 50 prompts, over three times Lite's 15.

The cliff is real, but it is not in the per-prompt price. Lite ($1.93) and Standard ($1.89) cost almost the same per prompt. The problem is that Lite cannot be topped up, so prompt number 16 costs $160 more a month. Past that, the calculator climbs smoothly:

• Standard: 100 prompts $189, 200 prompts $288, 300 prompts $387.
• Premium: 400 prompts $489, then $99 per extra 100, up to 1,000 prompts at $1,083.
• Packs cost about $0.99 per prompt, roughly half the base rate.

Our position: Lite is a sampler, not a monitoring program. It works for 15 questions, one brand, one country. Anything broader belongs on Standard, where Otterly's pricing is at its best.

Is Otterly.AI worth it?

Yes, if you will review daily results for a defined prompt set; no, if you want a one-time snapshot or can't act on findings. Otterly runs every tracked prompt daily on every enabled engine. If each prompt runs once per engine per day, Standard is about 12,000 checked answers a month (100 x 4 x 30), roughly 1.6 cents each.

Repetition is the product. Otterly says AI answers are not deterministic, and an arXiv study found accuracy varying by up to 15% between runs of models configured to be deterministic. One answer is an anecdote; a daily sample is a trend.

Where the bill and the value part ways:

• Claude is the add-on to question. It is $29 on Lite (the whole plan price again), $109 on Standard (58% of the plan) and $439 on Premium (90%). Otterly says it tracks Claude through the API with a Sonnet model and web search, while other engines are read through public web interfaces, because API data can differ from what users see. We haven't tested either method. Buy Claude only if your buyers demonstrably use it.
• Gemini and AI Mode can wait. The base plan already samples Google's search-side AI through AI Overviews. Add them once the base four show a gap.
• Daily is the only speed. You cannot trigger a run or change frequency, so a fix is not re-tested until the next daily cycle.
• History is not portable. Tracking starts when a prompt is created, with no backfill, and cancelling deletes tracked data per the cancellation guide. Export first.

Which plan fits which team?

Pick the smallest plan that holds your slot count, and add engines only for a stated reason.

• Lite ($29): one brand, one country, 15 questions, no API need.
• Standard ($189, up to 300 prompts at $387): most small teams, several products or markets, or any need for API, MCP or Looker Studio.
• Premium ($489): 400 or more slots, or heavier API and agent-analytics volume.
• Enterprise: above 1,000 prompts, SSO or custom terms.
• None yet: you haven't listed your buyer questions. Do that first; our Otterly review covers features beyond price.

What should you check before you pay?

Get the all-in monthly figure and exit terms in writing before entering a card. Otterly's own pages disagree in small ways.

1. Your slot count. Multiply prompts by countries using Otterly's calculators, then pick the plan.
2. Page inconsistencies. The pricing page says "50+" countries, a help article says 65+, and the country page says 70+. The pricing page says Standard can add "up to 300 additional prompts", while the calculator stops at 300 in total. Ask which applies at 400 prompts, where add-on prices differ by $510 a month between Standard and Premium.
3. Country and engine gaps. The country table (updated September 24, 2026) marks ChatGPT unsupported in the Czech Republic and Hong Kong, AI Overviews in Turkey and AI Mode in Kazakhstan.
4. Exit terms. Downgrading requires deleting prompts above the smaller plan's limit, and we found no refund terms for annual plans on the pricing or billing pages.

What we saw on Otterly's own site. In AEOeye's crawler access study (October 2026, 391 sites), otterly.ai had no robots.txt, and our self-identifying crawler received a 403 for its homepage and /llms.txt. That was one fetch on one day, not a verdict on the product; it only means we could not read what the site tells AI crawlers.
