AEOeye vs Quattr: Which Should You Pick?
By the AEOeye editorial team·Updated Oct 3, 2026
Part of our pillar guide: AI Visibility Tools

The short answer
Pick Quattr if you run SEO for a mid-market or enterprise site and want one platform to track AI citations, prepare fixes and measure results, priced by quote after a demo. Pick AEOeye if you first need to know whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI and Perplexity name you at all: a free ChatGPT check, then a $29 one-time report. This comparison rests on Quattr's public documentation as of 3 October 2026; we have not used Quattr hands-on.
AEOeye is our product, so we say plainly where Quattr is stronger. On anything that needs scale or repetition, it is. Every Quattr fact below comes from its own public pages, read on 3 October 2026, and is reported as Quattr's claim, not our test.
Older comparisons, including the earlier version of this page, quote Quattr plans of about $79 to $99 a month. We found no current Quattr page that publishes a price, so that figure is gone. They also called our free audit multi-engine. It is not: the free audit uses ChatGPT only, and the other four engines are in the $29 report.
Which should you choose?
Choose by the job. A platform that keeps working your site (tracking, drafting, linking, measuring) points to Quattr; a first answer to "do the AI engines name us?" points to AEOeye. Our view: do not buy an execution platform before you know the gap exists.
- Choose Quattr if someone owns SEO full time, your site has hundreds of pages to refresh or link, and you can budget for a sales-led platform. Quattr's press release calls it a platform for mid-market and enterprise brands.
- Choose AEOeye if you have never checked, want one clear snapshot, cannot justify a contract, or need numbers before a meeting.
- Use both, in order, if you are unsure: run the free audit first, then walk into a Quattr demo with the gaps already listed.
The order matters because absence is the usual starting point. In AEOeye's recommendation benchmark (127 audits, 27 brand names, 892 answers, June to September 2026), a brand was named in 17.6% of answers. That sample is small and self-selected, so it is not an industry average, but it shows the shape of the problem: in most answers the brand is simply missing. Fixes prepared for a gap you have not measured are premature.
What is each tool built for?
Quattr is a platform for running an ongoing search program; AEOeye is a one-off audit. One produces a stream of prepared work and measurements, the other a single snapshot you act on yourself.
Quattr calls itself an AI search growth platform. It covers SEO, answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO), the practice of improving visibility in AI-generated answers. What its public pages describe:
- Tracking: citations, mentions, sentiment and competitor presence, collected, per its comparison page, from real consumer-facing AI responses rather than APIs.
- GIGA: an agent that prepares page refreshes, new pages and fixes. Quattr says you control what goes live.
- Internal Linking AI: links generated and maintained across a site, reversible and sampled before rollout.
- A strategist: every customer works with one, typically on a biweekly cadence, weekly as an upgrade.
AEOeye's free audit asks ChatGPT three unbranded buyer questions live and shows the full answers, the competitors it recommends instead, and starter fixes. The $29 report, paid once, adds Claude, Gemini, Google AI and Perplexity, grows to ten questions (the free three are kept) and ends in a fix roadmap. We test each engine at the default tier a free user gets. There is no subscription.

How do they compare on price, engines and effort?
Quattr's price is a quote after a demo, while AEOeye costs $0 and then $29 once. Both name the same five engines, but only AEOeye publishes its limits. The table sets the two side by side; these are the points that move a decision.
- Price. Quattr's pricing page is a demo form with no price or plan. It ticks "No credit card", "30-min call" and "Free trial included", and the comparison page calls pricing custom, based on your use cases. Our Quattr cost guide covers what else we checked.
- Trial route. Quattr's FAQ says it depends on your use case and buying process: a demo, sandbox, free trial, proof of concept or paid pilot. Ask which one you get before you book.
- Engines. Quattr's homepage names ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews. AEOeye's free audit uses ChatGPT only; the $29 report adds the other four.
- Prompt limits. We found none published by Quattr. AEOeye is 3 questions free and 10 in the report.
- Setup. Quattr starts with a demo, then connections to Search Console, GA4 and your CMS. AEOeye starts with your brand name.
Where is Quattr stronger?
Quattr is stronger at everything that needs repetition, scale or execution: daily sampling, first-party data, prepared fixes and a human strategist. If you need a trend, a snapshot cannot replace it, however good the snapshot is.
Sampling is the structural reason. SparkToro, working with the AI-tracking startup Gumshoe.ai, had 600 volunteers run 12 prompts through ChatGPT, Claude and Google's AI 2,961 times. It found under a 1 in 100 chance that ChatGPT or Google's AI repeats the same brand list, and advised asking each prompt 60 to 100 times and averaging. Ten questions run once are a sample of one. Quattr's AI visibility page describes its AI-answer observations as daily.
- Execution. GIGA and Internal Linking AI prepare the work; you review it before it ships. AEOeye hands you a roadmap and stops.
- Business data. The comparison page lists joins to Search Console and GA4, so citations can be tied to sessions and conversions.
- Dashboards. It says an enterprise edition of Looker is embedded, and the homepage mentions a read-only MCP connection for AI assistants.
- Proof, with a caveat. Quattr publishes case studies, such as CloudEagle at 3x AI citation share and +113% organic clicks over twelve weeks. Its own page labels such outcomes observational, for the optimized cohort, with no causal claim. Treat them as vendor-reported.

Where is AEOeye stronger, and where is it not?
AEOeye is stronger when you have no setup time, no budget line and one question: does AI name us? There are no prompts to write and no contract. It is weaker the moment you ask what changed last month.
- No setup. We write the buyer questions from your brand and category. Quattr starts with a demo and connected data sources.
- Five engines, one price. The $29 report covers ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI and Perplexity with 10 questions, plus a five-layer SEO foundation audit and a PDF by email.
- Cheap to be wrong. The free check costs nothing and the report is $29. Quattr's cost is unknown until a sales call.
The limits are real. AEOeye has no history, no daily runs, no dashboards and no team seats, and ten questions is a small sample. It does not prepare or publish fixes, write your content, or guarantee recommendations. For ongoing tracking, see our guide to AI visibility tools or the Quattr alternatives.
One neutral note. When we checked quattr.com for AEOeye's crawler access study on 3 October 2026, its robots.txt blocked no AI crawler, /llms.txt returned a 404, and the homepage HTML we fetched carried Organization and WebSite JSON-LD only. Schema added by JavaScript would not show in that fetch. This describes its website, not its product.

FAQ
Is AEOeye a replacement for Quattr?+
No. AEOeye is a one-time audit: a free ChatGPT check with three questions, then a $29 report covering ten questions on five engines. Quattr is a sales-led platform that tracks AI answers, prepares page changes and measures results. If you need ongoing execution across many pages, you need a platform like Quattr. If you need a first answer on visibility, the audit is enough.
How much does Quattr cost compared with AEOeye?+
As of 3 October 2026, Quattr's pricing page shows a demo request form and no price, and its comparison page describes pricing as custom. AEOeye is free for the ChatGPT-only audit and $29 once for the five-engine report, with no subscription. Any Quattr dollar figure you see elsewhere is unverified.
Does Quattr cover the same AI engines as AEOeye?+
Largely, yes. Quattr's homepage names ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews. AEOeye's $29 report covers ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI and Perplexity, while the free audit uses ChatGPT only. The difference is volume: Quattr does not publish prompt limits, and AEOeye tests ten questions once.
Which is better for a small team?+
Usually AEOeye first. Quattr describes itself as built for mid-market and enterprise brands and starts with a sales call, a strategist and data connections, which suits a team with an owner for SEO. A small team that has never checked its AI visibility gets an answer faster and cheaper from a free audit.
Can I use AEOeye and Quattr together?+
Yes, in order. Run the free audit, then the $29 report if the first result is thin, and note which questions name competitors instead of you. Take that list into a Quattr demo to scope the work. You will spend the call on fixes instead of discovering whether a gap exists.
