Relixir Rex Pricing: Custom Quotes and Publishing Scope

Relixir lists Rex with Custom Pricing, not a published monthly subscription amount. Its product page describes a configured and managed GEO service with content generation, publishing, monitoring and support. Currency, region, minimum commitment, included output, prompt capacity and overage rates need a written quote. Checked October 5, 2026. The page's $0.003 cost-per-action benchmark is not a customer subscription price. Official Rex page.
Our view: evaluate Rex as a system that can change your public website, not merely a dashboard that observes AI answers. The right purchase question is whether you can control, verify and reverse its work. This is a documentation-based buyer guide; we have not used a paid Rex account, tested its benchmark claims or obtained a private proposal.
What does Relixir say Rex does?
Relixir describes autonomous GEO workflows spanning research, content production, citation analysis and ongoing updates. It lists connections to CMS, analytics and CRM systems and describes content refresh cycles of 30–60 days. These are vendor descriptions, not measured delivery times or results from an AEOeye trial. Rex capabilities.
That operating model differs from a tracker whose principal output is a report. If publishing and refresh work are part of your purchase, the subscription changes how editorial responsibility is allocated. Someone still needs to approve product facts, resolve contradictory sources and decide when a page should remain unchanged.
| Workstream | What to define before purchase | Evidence of acceptable delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Research | Topic boundaries and sources | A brief with verifiable claims |
| New content | Original scope and approval owner | Final page plus source record |
| Refreshes | Eligible URLs and review rules | Before-and-after change history |
| Monitoring | Questions, engines and cadence | Complete answer samples |
| Reporting | Business outcomes and definitions | Export with clear denominators |
Do not accept “content included” without defining what counts as an accepted page. An automatically published article that duplicates an existing intent creates cleanup work rather than useful output.
What price information is actually public?
The commercial deployment section says Custom Pricing and routes buyers to a demo. It does not provide a rate card from which we can verify your total. The page also contains operational benchmark figures and a comparison with agency spending; those are different kinds of numbers and should not be used as the price of Rex. Pricing context.
Request a proposal separating setup, recurring operation, additional usage and optional services. Ask whether the price covers one brand, one domain, one language or a larger portfolio. If publishing, source research and refreshes have separate limits, keep each limit beside the corresponding fee.
For a comparable first-year budget, use setup + recurring fees for the contracted period + required extras. There is no verified dollar example to insert here because we have not received a quote. We would rather leave that amount unknown than present a fictional “typical customer” invoice.
Also reconcile cancellation language with the actual order form. A public “cancel anytime” statement does not explain payment timing, notice requirements, already committed services or export access after cancellation. Have the provider state what happens to scheduled work and live pages when the relationship ends.

How much editorial capacity would you need?
Budget review time alongside output, because autonomous production can move faster than a team can check it. A proposal that promises more pages than your subject experts can validate can increase mistakes even if the writing is fluent.
Take an illustrative planning scenario, not a Rex allowance: twenty proposed pages a month, with twenty minutes of factual review and ten minutes of final approval per page. That is 20 × 30 minutes = 600 minutes, or ten hours. Eight page refreshes at fifteen minutes each add two hours, for twelve review hours before substantial rewrites.
The time estimate belongs to your internal plan, not the vendor's performance claim. Replace it with your own timing after reviewing several real drafts. If two reviewers are needed for complex product claims, reflect both people's effort. Publishing fewer accepted pages may deliver more value than processing a larger queue of uncertain drafts.
Google's guidance on AI-generated content warns against producing pages without added user value. That is a reason to define acceptance around a resolved buying question, verified facts and a distinct purpose—not word count alone. This is a general editorial requirement, not an allegation about Rex or its customers.
AEOeye's own audit records include 892 answers across 127 completed, self-selected audits. The public aggregate dataset has unequal engine samples and repeated brands; it cannot benchmark Rex. It reinforces our preference for reviewing the actual answers a content program is meant to improve.
Which publishing permissions should you require?
Require the smallest set of permissions that supports the agreed work, plus a visible approval and rollback process. This is our procurement recommendation, not a claim that Rex currently implements every control below. Have the demonstration show the exact controls available in the proposed package.
Start with a draft-only pilot if your workflow permits it. Restrict the initial scope to a small group of pages and make the approval owner explicit. Product prices, legal statements, customer evidence, medical claims and security promises should never change merely because an automated suggestion sounds plausible.
Before allowing broader operation, ask the provider to demonstrate:
- A complete change history showing who or what changed a page.
- A factual correction rejected by the reviewer and kept out of production.
- A rollback restoring the previous page and its important metadata.
- Revocation of publishing access without losing your existing content.
Use our AEO audit checklist to keep technical checks attached to editorial approval. A well-written draft can still create a duplicate canonical, break a useful link or obscure the answer buyers came to find. The service should make those failures discoverable, not only make publishing faster.

How should you judge claims about citations and results?
Judge them against preserved answers and a defined question set, not a guarantee that every assistant will recommend your brand. Relixir's public page describes visibility and performance advantages; we have not independently reproduced those claims and do not use them as measured evidence in this guide.
Choose ten realistic, unbranded buyer questions and keep their wording stable during a small pilot. Record the engines, markets, collection methods, timestamps, full answers and cited URLs. Separate questions where you are an appropriate recommendation from those where you are not. Our recommendation measurement guide explains why that distinction matters.
Ten questions across three engines, repeated four times, produce 120 observations. That does not mean 120 independent buyers, guaranteed citations or a statistically conclusive experiment. Repeated questions and changing model behavior limit the inference. Use the citation evaluation guide to check whether cited pages actually support the claims.
For business impact, connect the evidence to an action: an inaccurate statement corrected, an overlooked buying question answered, or a relevant page improved. Track resulting visits and qualified leads separately. An increase in generated content is production activity; it is not itself increased search visibility.
When is Rex a fit, and when is another approach better?
Rex is worth a closer evaluation when the bottleneck is executing an ongoing content program and you can define acceptable work. A monitoring tool is more appropriate when your team already writes and publishes effectively but lacks reliable feedback. A one-time audit fits the earlier question of whether there is a meaningful visibility gap at all.
For contrasting choices, Authoritas exposes a credit-based tracking budget, while Adobe Brand Visibility raises different implementation questions at the delivery layer. Neither comparison establishes a winner; the operating responsibility is different.
AEOeye's free audit is a baseline snapshot, and its full report is a one-time purchase. It does not write or publish your content, run autonomous refreshes or replace a recurring service. That limitation is useful when deciding whether you need diagnosis, ongoing measurement or execution.
Our buying rule for Rex is to request a small, reversible demonstration of the complete workflow and price that exact scope. A clear source record, an accountable reviewer and an exportable history are more persuasive than a low operational benchmark number that does not describe your bill.
FAQ
What is the monthly price of Relixir Rex?+
The Rex page lists Custom Pricing rather than a monthly subscription amount, checked October 5, 2026. Ask for setup, recurring fees, included output, monitoring allowances, optional services, currency and contract terms.
Does the $0.003 figure mean Rex costs that per customer action?+
No customer rate card was established. The figure appears in an operational cost-per-action benchmark, not the commercial deployment price. Do not multiply it by your planned tasks to invent a subscription estimate.
Has AEOeye tested Rex publishing or its performance claims?+
No. This is a documentation-based procurement guide. Proposed pilot checks and editorial time calculations are recommendations and illustrative planning examples, not observed Rex performance or customer outcomes.
What should I require before autonomous publishing?+
Request a demonstration of approvals, factual review, change history, rollback and permission revocation. These are recommended acceptance criteria, not a claim that every control is included in the current Rex offering.
