Conductor AI Search Pricing: Credits and Quote Questions

Conductor does not publish a dollar price for its AI Search platform on its current plans page. It offers Essentials, Growth and Enterprise through trial or sales routes. Growth lists 2,500 AI Search Credits per year; Enterprise lists 2,500+ per year. Essentials does not list an AI credit allowance in its highlights. Currency, contract term, taxes and additional-credit rates require a quote. Checked October 5, 2026. Official plans.
Our recommendation: ask Conductor to price your actual AI-answer collection schedule before comparing it with a prompt-based tracker. A suite can make sense for an established search team, but a familiar enterprise brand does not make its credit units self-explanatory. This is a documentation-based buyer guide; we have not used a paid Conductor account or verified its data quality.
What is included in the public plan descriptions?
Conductor bundles several workstreams, and the published limits describe different resources. Pages analyzed, pages monitored, writing drafts, keywords and AI credits should not be combined into one capacity figure. A million monitored pages would not tell you how many buyer questions receive fresh AI answers.
| Published allowance | Essentials | Growth | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| AI Search Credits/year | Not stated in highlights | 2,500 | 2,500+ |
| Pages analyzed | 1,000 | 25,000 | 125,000+ |
| Tracked keywords | 500 | 5,000 | 60,000+ |
| Tracked websites | 3 | 5 | 10+ |

The useful buying question is which existing workflow the suite replaces. If you need content production, technical monitoring and AI visibility in one organization, coordination may justify a broader platform. If you need twenty questions checked each week, a suite quote needs a stronger case. Write down the tools you can actually retire, not every feature you could theoretically use.
What does one AI Search credit buy?
The public feature page describes AI Response Credits as a usage-based pricing mechanism. It does not provide a conversion schedule detailed enough to price every model, market and refresh pattern from the material we checked. Do not assume that one credit equals one prompt, one answer or one month. AI Search Performance.
Ask for a worked calculation using your configuration. It should name the engine, model or consumer interface, geography, language, refresh frequency, retries and any credit multiplier. Include a completed export in the demonstration so the accounting unit can be matched to a real observation.
For example, 25 questions × 3 engines × 30 daily runs equals 2,250 answer observations per month, or 27,000 over twelve such months. This is an illustrative workload, not a statement that Conductor charges 27,000 credits. Only the vendor's conversion rules can bridge those units.
Growth's 2,500 annual credits average 208.3 credits per calendar month arithmetically. That average is not evidence of monthly replenishment, rollover, an even spending restriction or a particular answer capacity. Those are contract questions. Compare this with Authoritas's monthly credit schedule only after normalizing the periods and model weights.

How should a team request a comparable quote?
Send a fixed workload and ask for separate recurring, one-time and variable charges. A quote tied only to “enterprise AEO” makes it difficult to identify which change causes the next increase. Use a concrete request that both procurement and the analyst can read.
| Requirement to specify | Example request | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Scope | Two named brands, one market | Prevents ambiguous brand or domain limits |
| Observation schedule | 25 questions, three engines, daily | Creates a calculable workload |
| Evidence | Full answer, cited URLs, timestamp, collection method | Makes measurement reviewable |
| Data handling | Export sample, retention period, access roles | Defines operational fit |
| Price changes | Extra market, extra engine, double cadence | Exposes expansion costs |
The configuration page describes engine selection and credit forecasts, which should make this conversation concrete. Ask the vendor to demonstrate the forecast against the example rather than supplying a verbal “plenty of capacity” assurance. Tracking customization.
For cost comparison, use first-year total = annual recurring quote + onboarding + required integrations + expected overage. Leave unavailable amounts blank until quoted. We have no verified current dollar amount and will not turn an invented scenario into a supposed Conductor price.
Which product claims deserve a closer demonstration?
Prioritize the journey from an AI answer to a decision your team can execute. Conductor describes visibility, citations, sentiment and content workflow integration; a useful demonstration should connect those steps on your own sample, not merely show aggregate charts. Feature overview.
Bring an unbranded comparison question that matters to sales. Ask the presenter to show the full response, identify a cited competitor page, explain the proposed content change, and export the evidence. Then ask what would count as a failed recommendation: an inaccessible citation, an incorrect brand match, or an answer that names you only to reject your product.
Keep collection method visible. Consumer interfaces, direct APIs and grounded API calls may produce different outputs. A shared engine label does not establish equivalence. Your evaluation should reward transparent collection and reproducible interpretation, not whichever dashboard displays the largest score.
Our citation evaluation guide explains how to separate a visible citation from evidence that actually supports the answer. Conductor's raw records should let your team make that distinction without taking the summary metric on trust.

Does the larger suite reduce your real cost?
It reduces cost only when the organization uses the included workflows and removes genuine duplication. Savings from an unused writing allowance or a technically available integration are imaginary until someone changes how work gets done.
Build a short before-and-after responsibility map. Your content lead owns recommendations, an analyst owns sampling and interpretation, and the web team owns technical fixes. For each handoff, identify the record that moves with the task and the person who closes it. If the new platform saves a weekly reconciliation meeting, measure that time. If it adds another report nobody reads, count that too.
Conductor's Pages report describes combining page-level AI and organic performance. In a demo, verify that the dimensions relevant to your business are available at the quoted tier. A correlation between a content change and a citation increase still needs careful interpretation; it is not automatically causal.
For another suite procurement route, see BrightEdge AI Catalyst buying considerations. For a platform that also proposes implementation at the delivery layer, compare Adobe Brand Visibility. If execution is the bottleneck, Relixir Rex instead raises content-production and publishing-control questions. These are different operating models, so a lower headline quote alone does not settle the choice.
Who should shortlist Conductor now?
Shortlist it when your search program already has owners, multiple workflows and a credible need for enterprise integration. Wait when you cannot name the questions, markets or actions the monitoring will support. Those decisions should precede an annual software commitment.
AEOeye's own audit dataset includes 892 answers from 127 completed, self-selected audits. Repeated brands and unequal engine samples limit what can be inferred. It is a reminder to demand a clear denominator and sampling method, not evidence that any vendor outperforms another.
Before booking a procurement exercise, use our audit checklist to decide whether the problem is missing brand mentions, weak citations or technical access. A free AEOeye baseline can provide a first snapshot; it is not an ongoing tracker or a substitute for Conductor's workflow scope.
Buy Conductor when the quoted credits cover the agreed observations and the team can act on the results. Until those two conditions are documented, “contact sales” is a starting point, not a completed budget.
FAQ
Does Conductor publish an AI Search subscription price?+
No dollar amount was published on the official plans page checked October 5, 2026. Request a quote with currency, contract period, implementation, usage and additional-credit charges. Public capacity figures do not establish the price.
Are Growth credits monthly or annual?+
The current highlights list 2,500 AI Search Credits per year for Growth. Dividing by twelve gives an arithmetic average, not evidence of monthly replenishment, rollover rules or a particular number of AI answers.
Does one Conductor credit equal one AI answer?+
The public material checked does not establish a complete conversion schedule. Ask Conductor to price your engine, market and refresh configuration and show how the credit forecast maps to recorded observations.
Is this a hands-on Conductor review?+
No. It is a documentation-based procurement guide. AEOeye has not tested a paid Conductor account or verified measurement accuracy. Proposed demo exercises are buyer acceptance checks, not results from our own trial.
